The wife actually got out of class early this evening and beat us home. She’s tired and cranky, having been up since 4:30 so that she could get to school early this morning. She went online and discovered that an online quiz she took yesterday didnt’ register and she was given the opportunity to retake it.
She decided to do immediately.
Meantime, the kids are uppity; they want their pre-bed snack, they’re starting to snap at each other, they’re being loud, and obnoxious. I suggest to the missus that maybe she wait half an hour.
“No! I want to get this done now!”
So, call me a prick, but I’m not all that compassionate when she gets upset that she can’t concentrate with the kids around. This is why I suggested you wait, my darling.
